Brethren raise over $10,000 toward startup grant

July 24, 2010After several days in Ashland for the 122nd General Conference, the Brethren Church delegates and friends were able to raise over $10,000 in offerings, donations, and pledges towards the next MissioChurch start up grant, which will go to an upcoming church plant. This support was raised at the MissioChurch booth, two General Conference offerings, and pledges collected during the week. Proceeds from Wednesday's all-conference picnic with the Engage Conference (formerly the BYIC Convention) also went toward this total.
Praise God for His provision!
Thank you to all who contributed. As we heard this week, over 200 people came to know Jesus as their Savior last year through our three MissioChurch church plants alone. It is certainly a New Day in the Brethren Church!
