Training

trainingThrough the ORIENTATION and ASSESSMENT processes, the candidate and Team will be highly equipped to discern and to develop their vision and understanding of the best approach or model to use to accomplish that vision. The determination of the model which will be adopted for the project is of prime importance. It takes into consideration:

  • The culture of the IMPACT ZONE
  • The characteristics of the IMPACT GROUP
  • The TIMELINE of the project
  • The necessary STRATEGIES
  • The order of PRIORITIES

The utilization of the appropriate model is almost as critical to the health and success of the project as the calling and characteristics of the lead planter.

Once the model is identified, it is now appropriate to select MODEL SPECIFIC TRAINING for the planter and their team. TRAINING is different from ORIENTATION in that it includes a more detailed and hands-on approach focusing on the practical development of concepts relevant to the vision of the planter. Due to the increase of attention on church planting in recent years, there is a great variety of training concepts available across the United States. Once a model is chosen, Missiochurch will work with the candidate to determine the best training experience available for their vision and, through coaching, will help the candidate process this training bringing out its full benefit.
